Although I have a number of older and much larger standard works on Irish genealogy, I bought this book as soon as I saw it in a bookstore because of the wealth of internet resources it offers for research without leaving home. It is very useful for both beginning and advanced family historians/genealogists.

A must for anyone researching their Irish family history. - This book is a fantastic aid to anyone researching their Irish family history. It is beautifully illustrated with hundreds of photos and would make a wonderful Christmas present. I have been researching my Irish family tree for years and this is by far the best book I have seen. There is lots of information about how to find records in your own country - and then it explains what can be found in Ireland and how to get it (with lots available on the internet). Highly recommended.
